Short-Term Running Goals:

Be able to do 5 x 1 mile repeats all under 5:05 pace (flat/ track) by 12/10.

Run between 1:15 - 1:16 at the 2009 Painters Half Marathon in January.

Long-Term Running Goals:

Run below 2:30 in the Marathon.

Ran with Bill, Dustin and Clyde. Turned around about 2.5 miles into the run. Had to stop a couple times and stretch. Good Run, a little pain.

I dedided not to run most of last week to help heal my IT Band after messing it up again two weeks ago. It's feeling a little better today, so I'm hoping to go out for a slow 4-5 miler run/walk this evening.

Yesterday I started an all raw food diet for 7 days and I'm not planning on eating any processed foods or sugars until this thing gets healed.

Last night I was going crazy when my wife was eating pizza and I had my bowl of fresh veggies and nuts. Today, I'm feeling a lot better about the diet and my stomach isn't all messed-up, except for a small gas issue.

I didn't get out last night like I wanted to, however I did spend the time stretching, and icing.

Woke-up and stretched for 1/2 hour.

The run this morning felt pretty good. I can tell I have lost a lot of fitness over the last 1 1/2 months with this injury. During the run my knee felt a little tight so I just took it a little slow.

Ran 2.25 slow in the morning. No Knee Pain.

Ran 2.25 in the evening, no knee pain but felt a little tight at the end.

Played Paint ball with the guys from church for 2.5 - 3 hours. Ran around around the whole time and sweat my brains out. I figure I got in a little over thre miles of running.
