Ran with the group this morning did the Snow Canyon Loop From the Store.  I pretty much sand-bagged it all the way up the hill. I figured there was no reason to push. About the last 4 miles I picked up the pace a little and caught up with Bill and picked up a little distance on Clyde. Average pace was probably around 7:30. Good run to end a great week.

Very happy with my running this week.  Next week I plan to keep it at 80 and continue building a good solid base (I'll probably keep it in this range for another 5 weeks).  As of right now I have no tightness or any other nagging little issues in the legs.  My goal is to continue to stay consistent, build the solid base I'll need to train really well this summer with the guys.

Great miles this week Steve!

Good job finally pushing all the way through the week. Now you've established a bench mark so you can hit it over and over.

BTW the McDonald's we had this morning after the run is killing my stomach now. Who's great idea was that anyways?

From Steve Hooper on Mar 29, 2008 at 16:54:50

Thanks guys! I'm excited about the results as I continue.

Clyde, my stomach was killing me all day too. I'm a little better now but between 11:30am - 2:30pm I though I was going to explode. It's not a good feeling to have while I'm helping people with shoes.

At least we're being American.

Man, if I would have known McDonald's was involved I would have been there this morning. Actually, still resting the calf but hopefully it will heal up soon so I can resume training. Good job this week with the miles Steve.

Hey it was fun to see you for a minute yesterday. Thanks for coming and watching, and thanks for getting my sister some real shoes!

Steve, you came up on me like a train. I about freaked. I was just telling clyde i was going to come back and pick you up. I am really not a big fan of mcdonalds either. But I liked the company! My stomick did not like it too much either. You looking like a running machine!
