Group Run tonight from the store. Dustin showed up a little early and we did 2 miles before everyone showed up. Easy pace for the first three then started my tempo/ mile repeats/speed workout. It was kinda of a Hodge-podg speed workout due to a traffic light and a huge steep hill I had no desire to race-up.

Here it is:

5:32 - 1st mile

5:33 - Got stuck at the traffic light 1.75 miles into the tempo. Continued after the light turned green with crazy speed man Aaron.

5:44 - .5 on gravel

5:37 - Pretty spent by the end of this mile. I was going to do 5 miles of speed, but oh well.

Nice steady pace back to the store. Extended another mile when we got to the store to make the run 13.1

Oh Steve quit crying! Dude your running is looking sooooo good right now. I don't think i have ever seen you run like you do now! Man, your going to pr at the Hurrican half! At least for that race!

Alright, Steve I come to check up on your blog and read about the awesome workout you told me about and I get to read a bunch of whining! Don't forget your April 17th workout. Most runs will be boring and easy but if you keep at it you will continue to reap the rewards.

From wheakory on Apr 23, 2008 at 14:55:35

Way to use that bad attitude for a good run. Your mileage will pay-off. The hard training will show in the races. Nice run.

I need to get back with you on the shoe quote price you emailed me.

Did I miss out on Wednesday or what? Good to chat with you last night. Keep up the training so you won't be slow anymore!:)

Do you guys know what you are planning on running on sat? I might like to tag along with you guys.

From Steve Hooper on Apr 24, 2008 at 10:24:55

Marcie - We'll probably just meet at the store at 7am. If anything changes I'll let you know.

From Dustin on Apr 25, 2008 at 10:05:22

You hit some good times there on the tempo part of your run. What time are we meeting tomorrow?

From Ally Holt on Apr 25, 2008 at 15:09:23

Thanks for the invite, but ha ha! Don't think I can pull a 15 miler! You have fun though!

What's the course for Saturdays run?

From Steve on Apr 25, 2008 at 20:25:37

Ken - nothing yet - suggestions?

From Runnman on Apr 25, 2008 at 22:16:37

Utah hill, through Santa Clara, up dixie Downs drive, right on Snow canyon Pkwy, back to the store. ??? Not sure of the miles, but it should give several distance options.

Sorry Steve for standing you guys up. I hope you didnt wait to long for me. I am never a flake but I just could not get up this morning and probably was better cause I was a major slug today and would have not even had a chance of keeping you guys in sight. Wont happen again, if I say I am coming I will be there!

From MarcieJ on Apr 26, 2008 at 21:08:28
